THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ADOBE FLASH ANIMATION MEDIA ON MOTION SUBJECT MATTER FOR GRADE VII SEMESTER II AT DARUL ULUM ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PALANGKA RAYA ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016

ABSTRACT

 

This research aims to (a) determine the management of teacher teaching and learning the motion subject matter using Adobe Flash Animation Media. (b) determine the student learning result of motion subject matter after using Adobe Flash Animation Media. (c) evaluate the response of the students after learning the motion subject matter through Adobe Flash Animation Media.

This research is a descriptive, which was conducted in Darul Ulum Islamic Junior High School Palangka Raya Academic Year 2015/2016. The research populations are 63 students of seventh grade; they were divided into three classes namely VIIA, VIIB, and VIIC. Sampling technique used purposive sampling (samples intended), and the sample selected is a class VII A with the number of students 19 students. The instruments used were the students’ cognitive achievement test, learning management questionnaires and student response questionnaires.   The number of learning result test items were 6 valid questions and 9 invalid questions with a level of reliability about average 0,804 in very high category. The data analysis of THB initial test and the final test were used SPSS 17.0 version for windows.

The result of this research showed that: (1) based on individual learning mastery analysis using Adobe Flash Animation Media as much as 3 students with 20% were students learning mastery and 12 students with 80% were not students learning mastery. (2) The teachers’ ability in managing learning activities through Adobe Flash Animation Media on the Motion subject matter can be accomplished and demonstrated good result, because the average score at the first meeting was 3.28 (84,45%) and It increased at the second meeting. It was 3,32 (86.50%). (3) The students’ responses of physics learning using Adobe Flash Animation Media, 66,7% of students reported that they never use it. All students (100%) delighted participating in learning activities using Adobe Flash Animation Media. All students (100%) were easier to understand the motion subject matter through Adobe Flash Animation Media. All students (100%) said that learning physics through Adobe  Flash Animation Media were more attractive. All students (100%) were more quickly understand in learning the motion subject matter through Adobe Flash Animation Media and The 73,3% of students thought that the view of the motion subject matter are more clearly through Adobe Flash Animation Media.
