Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor performance of student learning on the subject of environmental pollution and learning model used by the teacher was still conventional, resulting in a lack of student motivation, this was encouraging researchers to conduct research using the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in order to use the model the learning outcomes of students will increase.

ABSTRACK

Indonesia has a very broad waters, one of them is Mangrove Teluk Bogam Cove in Kumai subdistrict west Kotawaringin, This region has one of the potential natural resources are abundant. Based on interview result with one of the fishermen researchers stated that there are several kinds of crabs in the Mangrove Teluk Bogam. This study aimed to determine the species of crabs that were found in the Mangrove Teluk Bogam Cove Kumai subdistrict West Kotawaringin Regency, and knowing the abundance of crabs that were found in the Mangrove Teluk Bogam Cove Kumai subdistrict West Kotawaringin Regency, and knowing the dominant crabs that were found in the Mangrove Teluk Bogam Cove Kumai subdistrict West Kotawaringin.

This research used quantitative descriptive eksporatif method, data collection used sampling methods and counting the number of crabs were found. Zoning techniques in this study used purposive sampling technique. The result data then analyzed using the formula Abundance Index. The tools used to catch crabs were traps.

ABSTRACT 

The structure and function of tissues in plants is a biology lesson included basic subjects in the field of science in Madrasah Aliyah. The structure and function in plants consisting of roots, stems, leaves and fruit. To determine the effectiveness of the use of interactive multimedia in learning IPA outcomes on the concept of structure and function in plants that achieved by student’s XI grade at MA MUSLIMAT NU, the researcher conducted a study using the Interactive Multimedia. It tailored to the student’s ability to learn and do more to understand the concepts and principles of biology, with the result that expect better student learning outcomes. The study aimed to determine student’s mastery of concepts and self-reliance in XI grade at MA MUSLIMAT NU Palangkaraya. The benefits of this research for students was to improve learning outcomes and student activity.

Polusi atau pencemaran lingkungan adalah masuknya atau dimasukkannya makluk hidup, zat energi, dan atau komponen lain ke dalam lingkungan atau berubahnya tatanan lingkungan oleh kegiatan manusia /oleh proses alam sehingga kualitas lingkungan turun sampai ke tingkat tertentu yang menyebabkan lingkungan menjadi kurang atau tidak dapat berfungsi lagi sesuai dengan peruntukannya. Pencemaran dapat timbul sebagai akibat kegiatan manusia ataupun disebabkan oleh alam (misal gunung meletus, gas beracun). Karena kegiatan manusia, pencermaran lingkungan dapat terjadi. Pencemaran lingkungan tersebut tidak dapat dihindari. Yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengurangi pencemaran, mengendalikan pencemaran, dan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungannya agar tidak mencemari lingkngan.

Zat atau bahan yang dapat mengakibatkan pencemaran di sebut polutan. Syarat-syarat suatu zat disebut polutan bila keberadaannya dapat menyebabkan kerugian terhadap makluk hidup. Contohnya, karbon dioksida dengan kadar 0,033% di udara bermanfaat bagi tumbuhan, tetapi bila lebih tinggi dari 0,033% dapat memberikan efek merusak. Suatu zat dapat disebut polutan apabila :

  • Jumlahnya melebihi jumlah normal.
  • Berada pada waktu yang tidak tepat.
  • Berada di tempat yang tidak tepat.

Sifat polutan adalah :

  • Merusak untuk sementara, tetapi bila telah bereaksi dengan zat lingkungan tidak merusak lagi.
  • Merusak dalam waktu lama.
